Roy Keane was not impressed by the role Casemiro played in Leandro Trossard’s first-half goal as the Gunners went on to secure a monumental victory at Old Trafford.

Arsenal stormed back to the top of the Premier League table after a hard-fought win against historic rivals Manchester United on Sunday evening.

With just two game left in the race for the title, the last place any Gunners fan wants to see their side play is Old Trafford, with their horrific record indicative of their past struggles.

Despite both club’s current form, it was never going to be an easy game for Mikel Arteta’s side with the game being as tense and gruelling as many expected.

Arsenal were able to find the breakthrough after a shaky start thanks to Trossard who steered Kai Havertz’s cross into the back of the net from two yards out.

But it was the mistake from Casemrio in the build-up to the goal that had Manchester United fans fuming as his failure to step up with his defence allowed the German forward to remain onside.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Roy Keane criticised the Brazilian for his lack of effort and awareness.

“I’m not say sprint like a 100-metre sprinter, but you’ve got to get up the pitch!” He said.

“Just move your feet a little bit. He’s got to look across him and go ‘we’re in trouble here’.”

“Well I don’t know what he was doing there?!” 🤨
