Manchester United youngster Leny Yoro is expected to make his return to the squad for Wednesday’s big showdown against Arsenal, but Ruben Amorim is in no rush to thrust him on the pitch.

The Red Devils beat fierce competition from Real Madrid to sign the 19-year-old last summer, splashing around £55 million to secure his services from Lille. However, the teenager suffered an ankle injury in pre-season that ruled him out of the few months of the campaign.

But luckily for the young defender, he should make his much-anticipated return to action in the coming weeks, having recently returned to training.

Yoro is also expected to join Amorim’s traveling party to North London where a top clash awaits them against the Gunners on the 14th matchday of the Premier League.

In his pre-match press conference, the Portuguese manager insisted he and his technical staff will adopt a cautious approach while reintroducing the young defender back to the fold.

“We have to be careful. We haven’t had many training sessions together [with Yoro],” said Amorim as relayed by The Daily Briefing.

Nevertheless, the 39-year-old lauded the Man United youngster, explaining how he possesses all the attributes that can render him a world-class player.

“Leny Yoro is a special talent. I’m really excited to work with him. He’s really fast, a modern defender, and that’s good when you want to press high. He can manage 1v1 situations in a great way.”

So it remains to be seen when Yoro will be making his first appearance in the famous Red jersey, as the fans have been impatiently waiting to get a first glimpse at the talented young centre-back since his arrival in the summer.
