to assess their abilities. On the other hand, he will be able to continue his career in Ligue 2, according to L’Equipe, because the tests are less demanding for that level.

Ruddy Buquet will therefore hang it up with 310 Ligue 1 matches on the clock, the third highest total after Philippe Kalt (355) and Laurent Duhamel (317). He directed a Coupe de France final and two Coupe de la Ligue finals.
For several seasons, he was one of the major referees in French football. Between 2014 and 2017, Ruddy Buquet was named four times for clashes between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille.
