With WrestleMania 41 still months away, the card remains wide open, but recent reports have suggested a potential clash between AJ Styles and Finn Balor at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. However, the latest update suggests fans shouldn’t get their hopes up just yet.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the match “isn’t booked right now.” While rumors have swirled about Styles vs. Balor being considered for the event, Meltzer claims he’s heard nothing concrete about it. Additionally, he noted there’s also been no movement on a teased feud between AJ Styles and Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker, despite their recent face-off on Monday Night RAW.
WWE has been floating several potential matchups for WrestleMania 41, including a rumored showdown between Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. Meanwhile, Styles, who returned at the 2025 Royal Rumble following an injury hiatus, has a limited history of singles matches with Balor in WWE—facing him only three times, at TLC 2017, Survivor Series 2022, and SmackDown in 2023.
With WWE still shaping its biggest show of the year, it remains to be seen whether Styles vs. Balor will actually make the cut.
