Ryan Gosling In Talks For Shawn Levy’s ‘Star Wars’ Movie

We hear that it’s true — the Barbie superstar is in talks to join Shawn Levy’s Star Wars movie.

Levy and Jonathan Tropper have been working on their Star Wars movie for two years. There is an untitled Star Wars movie on the release calendar for December 2027.

Levy is a must-have, must-keep director for Disney: he delivered them the highest grossing R-rated movie of all-time with Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine which grossed $1.33 billion worldwide.

While details are under wraps for the latest Lucasfilm movie, it is reportedly not connected to the Skywalker core canon of Episodes I-IX.
