Sabrina Carpenter Addresses NYC Mayor Eric Adams' Indictment at Madison Square Garden Concert

Sabrina Carpenter took a moment during her concert Sunday night (September 29) to address the recent indictment of NYC Mayor Eric Adams.

“Damn, what now?” Sabrina says in a video posted to Twitter/X from her concert. “Should we talk about how I got the mayor indicted, or?”

For context, part of Sabrina‘s “Feather” music video was filmed in a church in Brooklyn, which caused quite the uproar, with a bishop disciplining the Catholic priest who allowed the video to be filmed there. The priest was demoted.

This put the priest and the church on the radar for authorities, as earlier this month, federal authorities issued a subpoena for the church in association to possible business dealings with Mayor Adams‘ former chief of staff.
