The young England international sends a positive and encouraging message to his fans despite his injury.
As Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed, Bukayo Saka will be out for several weeks. The English striker, victim of a hamstring injury during the match against Crystal Palace (5-1) in the Premier League and operated on shortly after, is not expected to return before the end of February or beginning of March.
“It will take more than two months. I don’t know exactly how much longer. This will depend on how the tissue begins to heal in the first week and how mobile it is. It’s very difficult to say”said the Spanish coach at a press conference.
Saka determined to come back stronger
For his part, the Gunners right winger does not seem dejected by this ordeal. If he will be greatly missed by the London team, which returned to second place in the league behind Liverpool after its victory against Ipswich (1-0) and Chelsea’s setback against Fulham (1-2), Saka expressed his desire without fault on social networks.
“The majority of people will see obstacles, but few will see opportunities. My rehabilitation has started and I will come back stronger,” he wrote on
Instagram.
