Liverpool-Fulham, played on Saturday, once again highlighted Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian delivered his 100th assist with the Reds jersey.
He would of course have liked to celebrate this little event in other circumstances. While his Liverpool team was hung on Saturday at home to Fulham (2-2, 16th day of the Premier League), Mohamed Salah delivered a 100th assist in the Reds jersey, in all competitions.
The Egyptian winger found Gakpo’s head for the equalizer for the Mersey players at the start of the second half (1-1, 47th). Liverpool, reduced to 10 in the 17th minute following the expulsion of Robertson, was able to come back each time to the level of Cottagers who had regained the advantage in the score by Muniz (1-2, 76th).
Chelsea on the prowl
Thanks to the goal scored by Jota (2-2, 86th), served by Nunez, Arne Slot’s team avoids the worst and maintains its lead at the top of the English Championship standings. Chelsea, second on four points, have one more game.
