Mohamed Salah’s recent statements have opened the door to speculation about his future at Liverpool. But his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has been quick to respond, categorically denying the rumours.
Mohamed Salah cast doubt on his future at Anfield following Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League on September 1. The Egyptian striker said: “This is my last year with the club and I want to enjoy it. I feel free to play football – we’ll see what happens next year.”
These comments quickly revived rumors surrounding a possible departure of the Reds star at the end of his contract next June. Some notably mention an interest from Paris Saint-Germain or even Juventus Turin.
Salah’s agent responds bluntly
Faced with this flood of rumors, Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa wanted to clarify things and put an end to speculation. Let’s recall that the right winger had already been the subject of an offer of 100 million euros from the Saudi club Al-Ittihad, a proposal rejected by the LFC management.
“FYI, all these “journalists” who claim to have “insider information” about Mohamed’s future are making statements/publications based on absolutely nothing. It’s just clickbait. “Sources close to Mohamed” do not exist. This message is just to tell you that they don’t know,” did he write on Xformerly Twitter.
