Dates of ticket sale sales for the 2024 summer pre-season friendlies in Japan have been revealed.

A Newcastle United official announcement (see below) on Thursday giving the details.

United set to play Urawa Red Diamonds and Yokohama F. Marinos.

We have also collated a number of other key dates to watch out for (also view below).

Tickets for Newcastle United’s pre-season fixtures against Urawa Red Diamonds and Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan will go on sale at 10am on Friday.

United are set to travel to Japan as part of their preparations for the 2024/25 Premier League season after being invited to take part in the ‘J.League International Series 2024 powered by docomo’.

And United fans have been offered a short priority window in which they can purchase a limited number of tickets for both the game against the 2022 AFC Champions League winners at the Saitama Stadium and the clash with Harry Kewell’s J.League runners-up at the Japan National Stadium.

· Tickets will be paper and a postal fee will be applicable per transaction

· Tickets purchased in a single transaction will be seated together

· No refunds or changes to order permitted after purchase

· Ticket availability is limited and will be sold on a first come, first served basis

Tickets will go on sale for 48 hours at book.newcastleunited.com from 10am BST on Friday, 31st May, and will close at 10am BST on Sunday, 2nd June. No further bookings can be taken after this time.

Friday 31 March 2024 – First ever time the Lionesses playing at St James’ Park. England women’s team v France in European Championship group qualifier.

Saturday 1 June 2024 – Champions League final at Wembley.

Monday 3 June 2024 – England men’s team playing warm-up match for Euros at St James Park against Bosnia & Herzegovina. Possibility of Anthony Gordon, Kieran Trippier and other NUFC players potentially playing.

Friday 7 June 2024 – Launch of first replica kit of new Adidas deal, the 2024/25 Newcastle United home shirt.

Friday 7 2024 – The very final deadline for Gareth Southgate and the other national managers to name their official squads for the European Championships.

Friday 14 June 2024 – European Championship 2024 finals  in Germany kick-off, with numerous NUFC players potentially involved.

Friday 14 June 2024 – Summer transfer window opens (no official confirmation but universal expectation in media that it will be same as last season). However, international deals will only be able to be confirmed / processed from 1 July 2024 onwards.

Tuesday 18 June 2024 – Premier League fixtures released at 9am.

Thursday 20 June 2024 – Copa America kicks off, with Bruno (but not Joelinton) now named in the Brazil squad and very likely Miguel Almiron set to be involved with Paraguay.

Sunday 14 July 2024 – European Championships final.

Sunday 14 July 2024 – Copa America final.

Wednesday 31 July – Urawa Red Diamonds v Newcastle United friendly in Japan, playing at the 62,000 capacity Saitama Stadium, the largest football-specific stadium in Japan.
