Baba Ziauddin Siddique who was an Indian politician and a member of the Legislative Assembly passed away on Saturday night after he was shot dead. Reportedly, Baba Siddique was entrapped by three men at Kher Nagar in Mumbai just outside his son’s office around 9.30 pm on Saturday and bullets were shot at him. He was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he was declared dead. Much later at night, actor Salman Khan who shared a close friendship with Baba Siddique arrived at the hospital to pay his last respects.
Salman Khan has reportedly cancelled the Bigg Boss shoot in the middle after hearing about Baba Siddique’s death. In the video, the Dabangg actor looks heartbroken while equally angry with the media for creating chaos outside the hospital. Before Salman, several Bollywood celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, Sanjay Dutt, Veer Pahariya, and others were spotted outside the hospital. For the uninitiated, Khan was a regular member of Baba Siddique’s Iftar party.

Riteish Deshmukh was shocked to hear the news as he tweeted an emotional tribute for the late politician. He wrote, “Extremely saddened and shocked beyond words to learn about the tragic demise of Shri #BabaSiddique ji – My heart goes out to @zeeshan_iyc and the entire family- May god give them strength to brave this difficult time. The perpetrators of this horrific crime must be brought to justice.”
Details about the Baba Siddique’s death
According to the reports, two suspects – Gurmail Baljit Singh, 23, from Haryana and Dharamraj Rajesh Kashyap, 19, from Uttar Pradesh- were arrested in the killing of Mr Siddique. It was reported that the two have claimed they belong to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, said sources. However, the gang is yet to confirm the planned murder. At least six bullets were fired at Mr Siddique of which four hit him in the chest. Two men were arrested while the third remains on the run, as said by the reports.
