Salman Khan gun firing incident: YouTuber from Rajasthan taken into police custody

The gun-firing incident at actor Salman Khan’s house shook the nation. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his team have claimed that they were behind the firing incident. However, the latest development in the gun-firing incident case is that a YouTuber named Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar who publicly threatened to kill Salman Khan was arrested on Sunday. A Crime Branch official has revealed that the culprit has been sent to police custody until June 18 by a court.

In the video that sparked his arrest, Gujar allegedly claimed, as said by an official and as reported by the Times of India, “Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and other gang members are with me, and I am going to kill* Salman Khan as he has not apologized yet.” For the unversed, in the video, an unknown person can be heard saying, “Salman Khan has a lot of ego and he thinks that he is Dabang King Khan but we will show him who we are. Many people are present here including Goldy, Nitin, Vivek, Rohit and Jitin and we have a plan in place.”

Reportedly, he has been charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including Section 506(2) (punishment for criminal intimidation), as well as the Information Technology Act. The gun-firing incident at the house of Salman Khan was taken place in April.
