Sammy Guevara is back with a vengeance.
Former TNT Champion Sammy Guevara announced that he was medically cleared during a backstage promo on the February 2 episode of AEW Rampage. He had been out of action since AEW Battle of the Belts IX on January 13. There, he and Chris Jericho lost to AEW World Tag Team Champions Big Bill and Ricky Starks. Guevara took a big fall at the end of the match; he dove off part of the stage, but Powerhouse Hobbs pulled Ricky Starks out of the way.
In his promo, Guevara targeted Hobbs and told him he was coming for him.
