Sanjay Dutt calls out UK government for rejecting his visa for Son of Sardaar 2 shoot, says, “They have done wrong”

Ajay Devgn recently commenced the shoot of his popular sequel Son of Sardaar 2. The film’s shoot is currently taking place in London. Earlier, Sanjay Dutt was supposed to be a part of the film. However, after his UK visa was rejected, Ravi Kishan replaced him. In a recent interview, Sanjay Dutt has now expresses anger towards the UK government for rejecting his visa.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Sanjay Dutt expressed his frustration with the decision of UK government. He explained, “They gave me the Visa (initially). in the United Kingdom, Everything was ready. Then a month later you are cancelling my Visa! I gave you (the UK government) all the papers and everything. Why did you give me the Visa (in the first place)? You shouldn’t have given me the visa. How come it took you one month to realise the laws?” He further added, “I am not missing out on anything. But yes, they have done wrong. They need to rectify this. I am a law-abiding citizen. I go according to the law and I respect every country’s law.”

Why was Sanjay Dutt arrested?

Dutt’s UK visa was rejected because of his 1993 case. He was detained under TADA and the Arms Act. Later, the actor was also found guilty of violating the Arms Act for possessing illegal firearms acquired from other individuals involved in the 1993 Bombay bombings.

On the work front, the actor recently featured in Ghudchadi which released on Jio Cinema. He next has projects like Double ismart, KD-The Devil, Housefull 5 and welcome to the jungle in the kitty.
