Get ready to see a lot of Saoirse Ronan during awards season! The 30-year-old actress, who already has four Oscar nominations to her name, could possibly get double nominations this year for her work in the movies Blitz and The Outrun. Saoirse was joined by friend Ayo Edebiri at a CAA Screening and Reception for Blitz on Monday (October 14) in Los Angeles. Variety just updated their Best Supporting Actress predictions for the 2025 Oscars and has Saoirse listed as the predicted winner in the category. The outlet also predicts she’ll get a Best Actress nomination for The Outrun. Only 12 other people have ever been nominated for two acting awards in the same year with Scarlett Johansson being the most recent at the 2020 Oscars. 7 out of those 12 people won one of the awards. Blitz will debut in select theaters on November 1 and will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ on November 22. Watch the trailer now!
