EXCLUSIVE: Sarah Goldberg (Barry) is set as a lead in AMC and AMC+’s untitled Jonathan Glatzer Silicon Valley series.
The drama, produced by AMC Studios, is set inside the bubble of Silicon Valley, amid misguided corporate cultures, moony innovation labs and cutthroat private high schools. It is centered around a rift between a self-appointed “inventor of the future” tech CEO and his self-serving “performance psychologist”, who are engulfed in a scandal sparked by the exploitation of personal data.
Goldberg will play the psychologist who is a therapist to the tech titans of Silicon Valley.
Glatzer executive produces with Gina Mingacci (Killing Eve) the series, one of several high-profile Silicon Valley-set dramas that were put into development over the last year or so and the first to go into series.
Goldberg is known for her role as Sally Reed opposite Bill Hader in his praised HBO series Barry, which earned her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She most recently starred in the feature Bubble and Squeek opposite Himesh Patel, which just premiered in competition at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. She can also be seen in the 3rd season of HBO’s Industry, the IFC series Sisters, which she wrote and starred in, as well as the indie feature We Strangers. Goldberg, an Olivier Award nominee for Clybourne Park, is repped by UTA, Mosaic and Hansen Jacobson Teller.
