Sarah Michelle Gellar is the latest star to join the cast of Showtime’s Dexter prequel series, Dexter: Original Sin! She joins recently announced stars Patrick Dempsey, who will be playing the Captain of the Miami Metro Homicide, as well as Christian Slater, who will be playing Dexter’s dad Harry Morgan. Diaz shared, “Sarah Michelle Gellar is a pop culture icon who perfectly rounds out our best-in-class cast featuring Christian Slater and Patrick Dempsey among others. We’re thrilled to have her return to the Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios family and join the origin story of the Dexter franchise.” As of right now, a premiere date for Dexter: Original Sin has not yet been revealed.
