Former AEW Women’s World Champions will clash at AEW Grand Slam.
On the September 20 episode of AEW Rampage, Saraya was at ringside for Harley Cameron’s match against Hikaru Shida. Saraya interfered, but Jamie Hayter came out and stopped her. Saraya ran away, and Shida hit Cameron with the Falcon Arrow with the win. Saraya then challenged Hayter to face her at Grand Slam in a Saraya’s Rules match, and Hayter accepted. It was not specified whether the match will be at Dynamite: Grand Slam or Collision: Grand Slam.
Hayter had been sidelined for over a year, but the former champion returned at AEW All In, where she confronted Saraya. They have been feuding ever since, and Saraya has been avoiding Hayter’s wrath. Hayter beat Cameron in her return to the ring on the August 28 episode of AEW Dynamite.
