'Saturday Night Live' References Morgan Wallen's Abrupt Exit In Multiple Sketches One Week Later

Saturday Night Live brought the laughs at the expense of a viral moment from the week before!

On this week’s (April 5) episode, hosted by Jack Black, there were a couple mentions and references made back to the week before’s musical guest Morgan Wallen‘s abrupt exit from the stage at the end of the show.

During the opening skit, which took on President Donald Trump and his tariffs, James Austin Johnson as Trump referenced Morgan’s Insta story he posted after the show.

He said he had a markup of McDonald’s Island and after he was given a cardboard of some McDonald’s food on an island, he said, “There we go. I want to go to there.. Get me to god’s country, right?”

Then, later on in the episode, during Weekend Update, Colin Jost referenced Morgan‘s quick exit.

While talking about tariffs, Colin said, “Investors have lost over $6 trillion. Money is leaving the stock market faster than Morgan Wallen at good night.”
