Over the past six months, Saudi Arabia has intensified its interest in Vinicius Junior.

And this week it seems the Saudi Pro League has had new hope of convincing the Brazilian superstar to leave Real Madrid in 2025.

The leaders of the reigning La Liga and European champions fear a possible departure of Vinicius, as he was not shortlisted for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, which was ultimately awarded to the midfielder of Manchester City and Spain Rodri Hernandez.

Vinicius could pack up

Additionally, Sport claims that Saudi officials are still in contact with Vinicius’ entourage – they have made it clear that the offer to leave Real Madrid will remain on the table for as long as necessary.

Despite this, it would be a big surprise if Vinicius left Real Madrid anytime soon – and especially to go to Saudi Arabia. On the contrary, the snubbed Ballon d’Or would like him to stay where he is even longer, which would allow him to have more chances of winning the prize in the future.
