School Spirits season two is officially in the works! The Paramount+ drama will return with new episodes later this year and the cast has just started filming on the upcoming second season. Picking up after the shocking season one finale, season two begins with Maddie Nears still stuck in the afterlife, but now with the knowledge of what happened to her. She must unite her friends in the spectral and living worlds in order to reclaim her stolen life. School Spirits is based on the forthcoming graphic novel written by Nate and Megan Trinrud, who also serve as executive producers and creators on the show, with illustrations by Maria Nguyen. With the new season in the works, the returning cast has been announced, along with one cast member who won’t be back, and new additions were also just revealed.
