Scott McTominay joins Napoli

It was expected and it is now official. Napoli has just announced the arrival of Scott McTominay (27 years old), from Manchester United. The midfielder was expected to join the Italian club, eager to strengthen its midfield, at the request of Antonio Conte. McTominay therefore leaves his training club after 255 matches played since 2017 and 29 goals scored.

“Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has signed a permanent deal with Napoli. The Scotland international has risen through the ranks to become one of the most celebrated Academy players of his generation, making 255 first-team appearances after making his debut under Jose Mourinho against Arsenal in 2017.”indicates the MU press release. His arrival should make way for the arrival of Manuel Ugarte at the Red Devils.
