Scott Steiner is a true veteran in pro wrestling but his mouth got him into a lot of trouble, especially with WWE. He would finally get his Hall of Fame induction a couple of years ago and now Steiner admitted the delay was his fault.

Steiner made his way from WCW to WWE back in 2002. However, his WWE run was far from memorable and Steiner left the company in 2004. For a long time afterwards, he was quite bitter with WWE and his relationship with the company was bad.

In fact, that’s why many people doubted he would ever get a Hall of Fame induction. While he got inducted back in 2022 alongside his brother Rick Steiner, WWE even had backup plan on the chance Steiner refused it.

While speaking on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast, Scott Steiner acknowledged that his exclusion from the WWE Hall of Fame until 2022 was a result of his past comments and attitude.

Steiner revealed that when WWE acquired WCW, he went to WWE while being injured and frustrated. Over time, Steiner acknowledged the importance of letting go of such negativity and mentioned that the presence of his nephew Bron Breakker in WWE made it easier for him to come to terms with the situation.

“That was self-induced. I went up to the WWE after they bought WCW. I went up there hurt, wasn’t as mobile. I was p****d off and it took a while for me to get over that. It’s never good to hang on to that stuff. Plus, since Bronson [Steiner’s nephew Bron Breakker] was there, it made that decision that much more easier.”

The Steiner Brothers, Rick and Scott Steiner were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1, 2022, the night before WrestleMania 38. Their induction was a special moment, as they were honored by Rick’s son, Bron Breakker. Things are clearly between between WWE and Scott Steiner and that’s all that matters.

What do you think of what Scott Steiner had to say? Are you glad he finally got inducted into the WWE Hall of Famer after all these years? Sound off in the comments section below!
