A legend in the wrestling business is Big Papa Pump Scott Steiner. His nephew is former NXT World Champion Bron Breakker. Recently, Steiner shared his thoughts on Breakker.
While speaking to Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s WrestleBinge during the 90’s WrestleCon event, Scott Steiner opened up about Bron Breakker. Big Papa Pump wants to see how things go with Breakker but as of now, the two-time NXT World Champion’s push on the main roster has been good.
“Well, so far it’s going great. I think. We’ll see what happens. So far, they are pushing him good.”
Steiner also claimed that Sami Zayn got very lucky at the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event when he pinned Bron Breakker.
“Well Sami… He obviously cheated. You are not going to beat Bron by on his own. Or he got lucky. He had what? Brass knuckles or something? What he hit him with? He can’t beat him one on one. He [Sami Zayn] got lucky,” Scott Steiner said.
Scott Steiner says Bron Breakker needs a little more seasoning wrestling against good guys
During an interview with Jamal Niaz of For The Love of Wrestling, Scott Steiner mentioned that Breakker could reach the level of Roman Reigns but he needs a little bit more fine-tuning with matches against the good guys.
“Oh, there’s no doubt he could reach that level [of Roman Reigns]; it just takes time,” Scott Steiner said. “I think he’s ready. He just needs some more seasoning wrestling against good guys. When you wrestle against good guys, you get better. So I think he’s ready. He just needs to make the right moves here and there, and you never know what can happen.”
Big Papa Pump also mentioned that the former NXT World Champion has wrestling in his blood as he’s been following Steiner from a very young age.
“But one thing as a professional wrestler you got to be good at is the interview,” Scott Steiner continued. “When he was just a little boy, like six, seven years old, he used to ride his bike over to my house. He had watched Monday Night Nitro.
“And he’d come over and do the interview on me. My exact same talking s*** to me, and I’d say, ‘Come up with your own s***, now get on your bike and ride back home.’ So it was in his blood from a very young age, so that’s probably why he’s so good at it right now.”
