Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable at Disney with Deadpool & Wolverine. However, the House of Mouse drew the line at one particular joke in the summer blockbuster. Ryan has previously alluded to Disney asking them to remove a joke from the movie’s script. Now, the original script has been shared online by Disney, and you can see the very adult joke. Keep reading to find out more… The joke in question came after Ryan‘s Deadpool learned that the mutant Magneto had passed away. “F-CK! What we can’t even afford one more X-Man? Disney is so cheap,” he quipped. “I can barely breathe with all this Mickey Mouse c-ck in my throat.” Director Shawn Levy reflected on the line getting cut in an interview with EW. “There was only one line in the entire movie that we were asked to change,” he admitted. “We have made a pact, Ryan and I, to go to our grave with that line, but I will say that it was replaced with an equally dirty line of dialogue about Pinocchio shoving his face up Deadpool’s ass and starting to lie like crazy. I was like, ‘Ryan, that’s your replacement line in response to, ‘Can we clean it up?’ That’s Ryan Reynolds for you, audacious to the very edge.” There were also reports that jokes about another topic were off the table.
