‘Self-reliant India achievable through Swadeshi policies’

The Swadeshi Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan (SSBA) state conference started at Keshav Memorial Engineering College in Hyderabad. Telangana RSS Executive member Annadanam Subrahmanyam talked about the importance of the Swadeshi movement, especially during the COVID-19 vaccination drive.

Industrialist and Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy discussed how large companies are not creating enough jobs when expanding to rural areas. He suggested promoting economic growth by establishing small and micro industries to generate employment opportunities.

Screenwriter and Rajya Sabha member Vijayendra Prasad emphasized the need to teach children about self-employment and the concept of ‘earn while you learn’ for the country’s development. All India Swadeshi Jagran Manch convener R Sundaram spoke about the historical significance of the Swadeshi movement and its impact on India’s economic policies.

During the second session of the conference, Padma Shri awardee Chintakindi Mallesham shared his journey of inventing the Asu machine to help his mother and the weaving community. Anada Shankar Panigrahi from Akhil Bharatiya Sangharshana Vahini Pramukh highlighted the contributions of various leaders to India’s economic development through Swadeshi movements.

SSBA Dakshina Madhya Kshetra organising secretary Jagadish stressed the importance of youth becoming job creators instead of job seekers. He mentioned the significance of organic farming, cooperation, and decentralization in achieving a self-reliant India.
