The Senegalese carried out a good operation during the 4th day of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Thanks to a goal from Habib Diallo (27e), the Lions of Teranga won this Sunday in Mauritania (0-1).

A result which allows Senegal to steal first place in the group from Sudan, which will try to regain leadership in two days against South Sudan.

In the meantime, DR Congo is also coming back well, third, one point behind Senegal after a success over Togo (1-0) acquired on a goal from Meschack Elia.
