The former Parisian, Sergio Ramos, is now set on the rest of his career.

After an 18-year exile, Sergio Ramos, then a free agent, returned to his boyhood club Sevilla last September, signing a contract until the end of the 2023/24 season. Although Sevilla are 15th in La Liga, eliminated from the Copa Del Rey and bottom of their Champions League group, Ramos has featured regularly for the Red and Whites this season.

Media outlet Relevo claims the 37-year-old wants a new contract. After much consideration, the club’s board of directors decided to grant his request by offering him an extension.

Sergio Ramos is not thinking about retirement

Ramos, who spent 16 years at Real Madrid between 2005 and 2021 before joining Paris Saint-Germain two-and-a-half years ago, appears keen to continue playing despite turning 38 next month.

As a reminder, last year, the former Spanish international refused a lucrative offer to join a Saudi Pro League club. His ambition was to find his training club.
