Since the arrival of Daniele De Rossi on his bench, AS Roma has had a string of great performances. Plagued by doubt under the leadership of José Mourinho, the Giallorossi regained color and remained on six victories in the last eight matches before traveling to Monza this Saturday as part of the 27th day of Serie A. In full swing, the capital club made short work of their Lombard opponents.

Dominant in the first period, La Louve dampened Monza’s hopes at the end by scoring two goals in quick succession from Lorenzo Pellegrini (0-1, 38th) and Romelu Lukaku (0-2, 42nd). Returning from the locker room, Roma was shaken but Paulo Dybala completed his team’s success shortly after the hour mark (0-3, 63rd). Leandro Paredes scored from the penalty spot to correct Monza (0-4, 83rd) before Andrea Carboni reduced the gap at the very end of the match (1-4, 88th). With this very important success, the residents of the Olympic stadium in Rome climb to fifth place. Monza is eleventh.
