As part of the 7th day of Serie A, Atalanta Bergamo gave Genoa no chance this Saturday at Gewiss Stadium. Without trembling, Gian Piero Gasperini’s men defeated the visitors (5-1) to move up to 9th place.

Carried by a hat-trick from Mateo Retegui (24th, 50th, 74th), an achievement from Éderson on the hour mark (60th) and a late goal from Marten De Roon (80th), the Dea flew through this meeting. Unable to react despite the reduction in the score of young entrant Jeff Ekhator (83rd), Genoa suffered a fourth consecutive defeat and found themselves 18th.
