Continuation of the 24th day of Serie A this Sunday afternoon. Thiago Motta’s Bologna hosted the Lecce club on the pitch at the Renato-Dall’Ara Stadium. While the Rossoblu quickly raised their voice, central defender Sam Beukema opened the scoring from the start of the match (5th). Then, the tireless Riccardo Orsolini doubled the lead (27th). In the second act, the Italian scored a double (49th) and Jens Odgaard (82nd). Motta’s troops, currently ranked in 5th position, crushed Salentini (4-0), still in the soft underbelly in 13th place.

In the other multiplex match, Monza opened the doors of its Brianteo stadium to the Hellas Verona club. The two teams parted with a goalless draw (0-0). However, the Lombards gave everything to shake the nets, just like the Gialloblu. The two troops of the day attempted the same number of shots, i.e. eleven attempts for only one shot on target. The attackers lacked realism and efficiency this Sunday. Monza remains 11th, while Verona is still scrutinizing the red zone with 18th position.
