On the sidelines of the clash between Napoli and Juventus Turin, Atalanta Bergamo and Bologna crossed swords at the Gewiss Stadium on the occasion of the 27th day of Serie A. Humiliated by Inter Milan last weekend, the Dea wanted to put their heads back together against Bologna, a direct opponent in the race for the Champions League.

If Atalanta dominated the first period, notably finding the fault thanks to Ademola Lookman (1-0, 28th), they then got their feet stuck. In the space of four minutes, the Rossoblu turned the tide through Joshua Zirkzee, scorer from the penalty spot (1-1, 57th), then Lewis Ferguson (1-2, 61st). Unable to catch up, the Bergamo club lost for the second time in a row while allowing Bologna to distance itself in the standings and consolidate its place in the top 4.
