Continuation and end of the 23rd day of Serie A this Monday evening. AS Roma hosted the Cagliari club on the pitch at the Olimpico stadium. While the Giallorossi quickly raised their voice, Lorenzo Pellegrini opened the scoring on the first Roman opportunity (2nd). Paulo Dybala quickly doubled the lead to put his team on the right track (23rd). The Sardinians believed they could equalize before the break but the foul called on Lapadula ultimately did not offer a penalty (45th). In the second act, the Romans continued to take cover with Dybala’s second goal scored from the penalty spot (51st).

Winter recruit Dean Huijsen signed Roma’s success (4-0). In the standings, AS Roma remains in a good position in the Italian championship with this good 6th position, while Cagliari is still scrutinizing the red zone of Serie A with a sad 17th position. Next weekend, the Giallorossi will host Inter Milan at home, while the Sardinians will cross swords at home with Lazio, the other Roman club, on the 24th day of the championship.
