End of Serie A. In the late match, Atalanta Bergamo hosted Fiorentina this afternoon. For this last match of the season, the players in the match put on a great show. The first half was crackling with an avalanche of goals. Andrea Belotti first received a cross for the opening score for the Florentines (0-1, 6th), before the very fit Ademola Lookman equalized shortly after (1-1, 12th) . Same pattern then, the Tuscans thought to take the lead in the match thanks to Nicolas Gonzalez (1-2, 19th), until the sumptuous equalizing strike from Giorgio Scalvini (2-2, 32nd).

Four goals in one half were not enough, Andrea Belotti scored a second goal from the surface (2-3, 45th+1). The second half was completely the opposite, tasteless and scoreless. Two weeks after their historic coronation in the Europa League, Atalanta missed the opportunity to secure the podium with this defeat. Fiorentina finished 8th, and will play in the Europa Conference League again next season.
