Barcelona have been handed a significant boost in securing a valuable deal as Juventus have significantly lowered their asking price for Federico Chiesa to just €10 million, reports Mirko Calemme in AS

This development could be a game-changer for Barça, as Chiesa, who has been a target this summer, is now much more affordable.

It appears Juventus are eager to move the player on in this transfer window, and they have made it clear that selling him is a top priority.

The Italian club’s determination to part ways with Chiesa has only grown stronger in recent days, particularly after they secured deals for two other wingers, Nicolas Gonzalez and Francisco Conceicao.

There is more good news for Barcelona

It is said that Gonzalez has already passed his medical examination, confirming his readiness to join the team. Meanwhile, Conceicao is coming in from Porto on a loan deal.

After one year, though, Juventus will have the option to make his stay permanent. These acquisitions clearly indicate that Juventus are reshaping their squad and making room for new talents on the wings.

The arrival of these two players highlights Juventus’ optimism about Chiesa’s departure. They are already preparing for life without him, and there are even whispers of a possible move for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho if Chiesa’s transfer to Barcelona goes through.

Juventus are keen to accelerate their efforts to bring in Sancho should Barcelona finalise Chiesa’s signing. This suggests that the club is already planning their next steps, which could include adding Sancho to their roster to replace the outgoing Italian winger.

The reduction in Chiesa’s price from an initial demand of €15 million to a mere €10 million suggests that Juventus are very motivated to sell.

This price drop makes the deal more attractive for Barcelona, who have been monitoring Chiesa for some time. Chiesa himself seems eager for a new challenge, and a move to Barcelona could provide him with the fresh start he desires.

This opportunity could also be highly beneficial for Barcelona, adding a versatile and dynamic winger to their squad at a bargain price.
