Serie A: Hellas Verona crushes Venice

For the 7th day of Serie A, Hellas Verona hosted promoted Venice and had to win to move up the rankings. But Oristiano opened the scoring for Venezia (1-0, 2nd), before Tengstedt’s quick equalizer (1-1, 5th).

But after a hard-fought second half, Hellas finally won thanks to an own goal from Joronen (2-1, 81st) and moved up to 10th place. For its part, Venice remains in 19th place with only one victory in seven days.
