After the successes of Napoli and Udinese, Inter Milan hosted Torino at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium for the 7th day of Serie A. A match that the Nerrazzuri played in numerical superiority for more than an hour, after the red card from Guillermo Maripan (20th). A few minutes later, Marcus Thuram struck twice in the cages of Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (25th, 35th). Duvan Zapata then responded in the wake of his double to reduce the score (36th).

But the French international was definitely in great form this evening, as he scored another goal (60th), to score his first hat-trick with Inter. Despite Vlasic’s reduction in the gap from the penalty spot (87th), Inter won their fourth success in seven Serie A matches (3-2). This victory allows the Interistas to return to second place to the detriment of Udinese, and to remain two points behind the Neapolitan leader. Torino are sixth and could see Empoli or Lazio pass them this Sunday.
