Last weekend, the 13th day of Serie A took place and the two Milan teams did not exactly experience the same situation. Inter Milan crushed Hellas Verona (0-5) to temporarily take the lead thanks to a double from Marcus Thuram and goals from Joaquin Correa, Stefan de Vrij and Yann Aurel Bisseck. At San Siro, AC Milan had to settle for a goalless score (0-0) against Juventus. Like every year, Serie A players wore a red mark on their faces this weekend as a symbol of the fight against domestic violence against women. But a scandal could soon break out in Italy.

The Italian television presenter, Massimo Giletti said in a program broadcast on the national channel of Rai : “A very famous player from a Milan team beat a girl, we have the video”. No further details were provided on the identity of the player, or even on the club in which this accused player plays. The woman was reportedly drunk. The Italian journalist affirmed that the video of this alleged attack was recovered by the Italian channel and this whole story is currently the subject of a proper investigation. To be continued.
