Continuation of the 32nd day of Serie A this Sunday noon. Napoli welcomed the promoted from Frosinone, on their lawn at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium. This meeting was full of twists and turns between the two teams and got off to a flying start with Matteo Politano (16th) opening the score for Naples. A perfect start for Francesco Calzona’s players who came close to an equalizer but Alex Meret repelled Matias Soulé’s penalty (30th). In the second act, the Leoni pushed well and managed to equalize thanks to the achievement by Walid Cheddira, on loan from Naples (50th). But quite quickly, the Partenopei reacted with the tireless Victor Osimhen who put his team back in front on the scoreboard (63rd).

This was without counting on the Moroccan international from Frosinone who scored a double (73rd) to lock the draw (2-2). In the standings, Naples is still in the race for Europe within this Italian championship with this solid 8th place, while the promoted Frosinone is still in great danger in the red zone of Serie A with this 18th position. Next weekend, the Partenopei will go to Tuscany to face Empoli, while the Leoni will travel to Piedmont to challenge Torino, during the 33rd Italian matchday.
