Continuation of the 30th day of Serie A this Monday evening. AS Roma traveled to Lecce, on the lawn of the Ettore Giardiniero stadium – Via del Mare. This meeting was largely dominated by the locals with nearly 27 strikes attempted against the Giallorossi, including 16 in the first period. Luca Gotti's players didn't miss a single thing to snatch a precious victory but the match ended in a goalless score (0-0). Roma also created several chances but never found the fault against a very good Wladimiro Falcone in the cages.

In the standings, Lecce still remains in a mixed position in the Italian championship with this 13th place, while AS Roma continues its strong comeback under Daniele De Rossi, thus occupying 5th position in Serie A. Next weekend, Lecce will travel to Lombardy to face AC Milan, while the Giallorossi will play against rival Lazio for the Roman derby, on the 31st Italian matchday.
