Session Moth Martina suffered an injury in her match at OTT last night.
The Irish wrestler attempted to defend her OTT’s Women’s title in a tables match at the event. She faced Raven Creed in one of the show’s biggest matches. Session Moth Martina is one of Ireland’s biggest female stars on the indies. She has competed in promotions like Progress, Stardom, AEW and ROH, and has been a mainstay in OTT since 2014.
Sadly, she lost the OTT Women’s Championship to Raven Creed at OTT’s Tenth Anniversary Show. She was put through a table to lose the match, ending her reign at an astonishing 588 days. This makes her the title’s second-longest holder, after Emersyn Jayne’s 797 day-reign between 2020 and 2022.
Unfortunately, that is not the worst thing that happened to her that night. Session Moth Martina took to Twitter after the event to reveal that she suffered an injury during the tables match.
She wrote that she was taken to hospital with head injury following the event. The head injury will keep her out of action “for a little bit”, with no immediate information on when she could return to the ring.
“Unfortunately last night at @OTT_wrestling, not only did I lose the Championship, but I was sent to hospital after sustaining a significant head injury that’s put me out of action for a little bit! thank you for the last 10 years of my life, it’s time to say bye for a bit” Session Moth Martina wrote.
