Seth Rollins is eager to get back in action, but he notes that it is not entirely up to him.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has not wrestled since the January 15 episode of WWE RAW. There, he beat Jinder Mahal to retain the title, but he suffered a torn MCL and partially torn meniscus. Rollins has said that he intends to compete at WrestleMania 40, and while he has not wrestled, he has continued to appear on WWE programming.

Speaking with Josh Robinson for Love Wrestling, Seth Rollins was asked to describe how far away fans were from seeing him in the ring and whether it would be before WrestleMania 40.

“We’ll keep our fingers crossed,” Seth Rollins said. “I think so. I don’t know that that decision entirely lies with me. We have a medical team that makes those final calls. But if it were up to me, I would be back in beforehand. I work best when I’m working.”

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
