Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed had weeks’ worth of story leading to the September 30 WWE RAW in Evansville, Indiana. This comes a few weeks after the two collided in a war that turned into an impromptu parking lot brawl. This week’s WWE RAW saw a war between monsters with Bad Blood on the horizon.
Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed, with over 700 pounds of pure muscle between them, tore the house down as they battled all over the arena in a Last Monster Standing match this week.
These two got started fast, and then they moved to ringside. It didn’t take long before Strowman put Reed through the announce table. This match was operated like a last man standing match, only they were monsters. After the commercial break, the two were going at it in the ring.
They set up a bunch of chairs on the floor, and Braun sent Bronson off the apron and onto that bed of chair that they set up. Reed was able to get up and then they took their way up to the entrance ramp.
Braun Strowman grabbed a chair, and he started whacking Reed with it as they continued. Then they got up on some production crates and they both went down and through a couple tables that were already set up.
The match continued through another set of commercials, and when we came back, Reed was throwing Braun through the timekeepers’ barricade. They were really deconstructing the set for the RAW crew at the end of the night. Then they did another spear spot where they went through the barricade and took out the front row of fans.
A ton of security came down to help the fans who were crushed. Then Bronson Reed nailed a Tsunami on Braun, but the referee wasn’t in place to count. So, Reed went back to the top and he hit another Tsunami. The referee wasn’t there, so Reed went over and starting fighting security. He threw three of them in the ring, and then he grabbed the referee. Adam Pearce got in Reed’s face, and then Jason Jordan shoved Reed away, and a bunch of security surrounded Reed as Braun went to the top rope and nailed a huge dive on everyone.
Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman got to their feet before the ten count, and then Strowman put Reed in the ring once again. Braun climbed up top, but Reed stopped him with a chair. Then Reed climbed up and hit a superplex on Braun Strowman. The ring broke just like it has with other Strowman matches as they collapsed the whole thing, ring posts and all.
Just as Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman were getting to their feet, Seth Rollins jumped in the ring out of nowhere, and he nailed a stomp on Reed on the ring steps, which were also in the ring. This was a big surprise return for Rollins as he got revenge on Reed for taking him out of action. This also gave an opening for Strowman to get to his feet and win the match.
We will have to see what WWE does next in this story between monsters. It certainly amounted to a high-impact match on RAW this week, especially with Seth Rollins back in the mix.
