Seth Rollins showcased his strong work ethic on RAW by defending his title against Jinder Mahal. However, he sustained an injury during the recent episode of RAW, and now his status for WrestleMania 40 has been disclosed.
As previously reported, there were indications that Seth Rollins might have suffered an injury to his left leg during the match. Despite this, he displayed resilience by powering through and finishing the bout. Additionally, subsequent reports indicated that he was able to put weight on the injured leg after the match.
In addition to that, Seth Rollins was removed from this weekend’s house shows. We have also reported that WWE is advertising Seth Rollins on future episode of Monday Night RAW despite the injury.
Reports have noted that Rollins suffered a torn MCL and partially torn meniscus. According to PWInsider, if Seth Rollins were to undergo surgery for a torn meniscus, he could potentially return in 3-4 weeks with an aggressive approach, but a more likely recovery timeframe would be 4-6 weeks. While he is expected to be ready for WrestleMania in April, other significant events like Elimination Chamber in Perth might be uncertain.
”Rollins could return from a torn meniscus, if surgery is required, in 3-4 weeks if he was able to push it, but 4-6 weeks is usually a more likely recovery. Rollins should be good to perform at Wrestlemania this April but other major events before that could be questionable.”
Seth Rollins will be addressing his future on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW. It remains to be seen whether Rollins will end up having to undergo surgery and miss out on in-ring action for a few weeks.
