Barcelona will have a few important decisions to make in the months to come, the most important of which revolves around the coaching vacancy.
With Xavi announcing his desire to leave Camp Nou in the summer, Barcelona must finalise a replacement.
Joan Laporta, though, has indicated that any coach willing to join Barcelona may have to wait until the end of the season.
Hansi Flick desperate to coach Barça
According to SPORT, that is exactly what Hansi Flick is doing right now. The German is closely tracking the situation at Barcelona and is willing to wait until the summer to know his fate.
That is because Flick is ‘crazy’ about coaching Barcelona. He is excited about leading the Catalan club’s project in the years to come.
Formerly a sextuple winner with Bayern Munich, Flick has other clubs pursuing him. But his priority is to coach Barcelona.

The Xavi problem for Flick
Linguistic barriers won’t be the only obstacle for Hansi Flick in his bid to coach Barcelona next season.
Although the German is willing to wait for the Barça, he must be aware of the changing perception around Xavi inside the Catalan camp.
With each passing day, the chances of Xavi potentially reversing his decision increase. The Barcelona board is in favour of retaining the services of the Spaniard, with club president Joan Laporta being a massive supporter.
Flick, for his part, though, is quite hopeful. That is why the German, in parallel, is preparing for his dream job by thinking about tactical tweaks he could make.
The German tactician is also keeping track of Barcelona’s games this season, which underscores how serious he is about the job.
