Shah Rukh Khan To Play Villain In Pushpa Director Sukumar’s Rural Political Action Drama – Report

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly teamed up with Pushpa Director Sukumar for a rural political action drama that promises to showcase him in an unprecedented avatar as per a report.

This project will see King Khan step into the shoes of an anti-hero, blending his unparalleled mass appeal with his global superstar persona in a raw, rustic, and quintessentially desi role.

Shah Rukh Khan To Team Up With Pushpa Director Sukumar

With a plot that transcends simple amusement, the untitled movie is set to tackle serious social issues including caste and class injustice. According to Mid-Day sources, “King Khan will play an anti-hero, but this will be a rural political action drama that promises to show him in a raw, rustic, and desi avatar.”

Both SRK and Sukumar are juggling packed schedules. Sukumar is currently working on RC 17 with Ram Charan, Pushpa 3: The Rampage, and a romantic drama also starring Ram.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan has his hands full with King, an action-packed venture set to begin filming in May 2025 in a start-to-finish schedule, and Pathaan 2, the much-anticipated sequel to his 2023 box-office juggernaut.

Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan’s and Sukumarcollaboration might not materialize until 2027 or later. Fans are super excited for the interesting collaboration of the duo.
