Shawn Michaels Reveals Protective Measures For WWE NXT Stars After Vince McMahon Allegations

Vince McMahon made headlines following allegations of sexual trafficking and misconduct raised by a former WWE employee. Obviously, the very foundation of WWE was shaken to the absolute core due to these allegations. Now, Shawn Michaels has revealed the protective measures for NXT stars after McMahon’s allegations.

In case you didn’t know,very serious allegations of sexual trafficking and misconduct were lodged against Vince McMahon by former WWE employee Janel Grant last week. The lawsuit stated that McMahon shared explicit content of Grant without her permission, implicating other WWE employees, undisclosed executives, and stars. In addition to that, it alleges that McMahon instructed her to participate in sexual activities with them.

While speaking during the NXT Vengeance Day media call, Shawn Michaels was asked about protective measures for vulnerable NXT talent, Michaels recognized the need for improvement and expressed his sadness about the situation. He clarified his limited involvement in corporate decisions, mentioned updated regulations from 2022, and emphasized the importance of providing a secure working environment for talent. Michaels commended NXT for its efforts in this regard.

Regarding conversations with NXT talent about Vince McMahon’s allegations, Michaels confirmed everyone’s awareness of the situation and its gravity. He reiterated the sadness surrounding it and emphasized the seriousness with which NXT approaches the development of young talent.

Michaels acknowledged the challenges young talents face when leaving home to pursue their dreams and highlighted NXT’s commitment to supporting and empowering them to ask important questions.

Janel Grant’s lawyer also believes more people will speak out against WWE’s culture of corruption. We’ll have to wait and see what will become of Vince McMahon in the coming months.
