Shawn Michaels won’t give away what CM Punk is doing for NXT on October 1, but it sounds like it will be substantial.
WWE Vice President of Talent Development Shawn Michaels recently sat down with Iridian Fierro of WGN Radio. When asked about CM Punk’s role on the October 1 episode of NXT from Chicago when the brand begins airing on The CW, Michaels said he won’t give away what he’s doing just yet, but Punk will be playing a major role.
“Can’t let the cat out of the bag on that right now,” Shawn Michaels said. “So, he’s going to be there. He’s going to be playing a major role, obviously, for us, and again, as I said. Certainly, other surprises are sure to come.” [H/T: Fightful]
While we don’t know what other surprises will be in store for the October 1 episode, it’s already been announced that Randy Orton will appear the following week when NXT goes to St. Louis.
