Sheamus has re-signed with WWE.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Pat McAfee announced that Sheamus had officially signed an extension with WWE.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) confirmed the news with WWE sources. He wrote that the veteran’s contract was set to expire earlier in 2024, but it was extended due to injury time. Sapp writes that the new deal is multi-year in length.

Sheamus, 46, started making appearances as an extra for WWE in 2006, and he signed a developmental deal with the company in 2007. He made his televised debut in 2009. Sheamus won the WWE Championship at WWE TLC 2009. Since then, he has won many titles; he has become a four-time world champion.

“The Celtic Warrior” has held the WWE United States Championship and the tag titles, and he has won the Royal Rumble. He is also a former King of the Ring and Money in the Bank winner.
