Sheamus teases that big things are on the horizon.
Former WWE Champion Sheamus has been out of action since the August 18, 2023, episode of WWE SmackDown, and there have been few updates on his potential return. F4WOnline.com‘s Dave Meltzer (via Wrestling Observer Radio) previously reported that the veteran was dealing with a “really bad” shoulder injury. Sheamus missed the road to WrestleMania 40, but he is teasing that 2024 will be a big year for him.
During an appearance on Premier League Mornings Live at the Premier League Fan Fest, Sheamus said that big things were coming for him. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)
“Seven months I’ve been off, you know what I mean? From WWE but, I wanna tell everybody, big things are coming for Sheamus this year,” he said. “Huge things are coming for Sheamo!”
As of this writing, there is no word on when Sheamus will return to WWE. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
